Wiesje Zikkenheiner has a Master’s degree in International Law (LLM) and Humanitarian Assistance (MA). After having worked as a lawyer, she worked for several years as an Associate Expert with the UN in Southern Africa. Her project management activities continued with a European NGO network based in Amsterdam that has since 2013 led her to AIGHD. She is currently responsible for the coordination of the daily activities related to project management, overseeing and directing a group of project managers who support the writing of grant applications and the implementation of projects and programs. In addition, she works as a Senior Project Manager, mostly on complex EC funded projects.
